Minor Field Trip and Seminar

SUTHERLAND (DAVAO)

We visited Sutherland on the 22^nd day of September. It is a Business Process Outsourcing company located at Davao City.

I learned about data center particularly on how they worked. I found their job interesting yet so tiring.

I like their environment because in the kind of job that they are in, it is important for them to have relaxing surroundings. For them not to be stressed and that they will be able to perform their job accordingly. I also enjoy their policy which is strictly implemented “to speak in English”.            

I observe to their company is that their three building is not connected to each other, you would have to walk in from building 1 to building 2 to building 3 I find it tiring. But I like that there is a fitness center inside of their building where the employees are free to use that center for their health purposes and it is advantage for the health conscious employee.

Interpersonal Skill

July 21, 2010 is the date where our interpersonal skill was held at the Social Hall in the University of Southeastern Philippines. There are so many knowledge that imparted to us by the different speaker who was invited for the said seminar.  There is also an activity which can enhance our social attitude.

There are also some lesson which can help us to improve our skills and personality. The different interpersonal skills are Communication skills, Assertiveness skills and Conflict resolution. An Interpersonal skills are a relationship buildings skills and it is a commonly referred to as people as communication skills. It is the sum total of our ability to interact effectively with other people.
